teen gifts

what kind of gifts will you give your teenager this christmas? will they be the newest electronic game, the wii type games, the xbox 360's? most teenagers want money, it's a well documented fact! I know mine does, especially if they no longer have the summer job through the winter and are driving one of the family cars and need gas money. I can't buy my teen clothes as he has his very own sense of  style and even claims to have gotten everyone in i high scholl wearing cardigans! aren't cardigans for older teachers? what's even worse is when family ask what they can get said teen for christmas...teens want money.. no it doesn't mean the giver has  no imagination or that he can't be bothered... lets face it money gives them freedom, it gives us all freedom, that's what I like about money, yes we can all learn to live with less but you're still gonna want money.  so before you think of getting the teen in your life another cute hoodie, think again, maybe a gift card to Tim Hortons would be better.... it's the thought that counts, we all say that, but it's like the dissapointed look on Poirot's face when he received these handknit wool  gloves with sunflowers on them  and 3 sizes  too big that we realize that some thoughts, well, suck!
